Restoration Process
Every piano imported through our pre-order service undergoes a comprehensive, top-to-bottom restoration. We do not just clean instruments—we rebuild them to near-factory condition, ensuring unmatched aesthetic beauty, touch sensitivity, and acoustic brilliance.
Exterior Finish & Cabinetry
- Full-Body Paint: Completely refinished with a flawless, high-gloss polyester finish.
- Flawless Finish: Guaranteed zero scratches, dents, or cosmetic damages across the cabinet.
- Polished Hardware: Pedals, hinges, brass lettering, and external metal accents are buffed and polished to a mirror shine.
Hammer & Action Assembly
- Cleaned Original Hammers: Original hammer felts are deep-cleaned, reshaped, and voiced for optimal warmth and tonal projection.
- New Hammer Components: Fully equipped with brand-new hammer butts, center pins, and durable flange cords.
- New Bridle Tapes: Replaced with fresh, high-tension bridle tapes to ensure rapid, crisp key responsiveness.
Keyboard & Touch Regulation
- Brand-New Keytops: All white keytops and front key faces are completely replaced with clean, durable new material.
- Restored Black Keys: Black keytops are meticulously re-surfaced and polished to a smooth finish.
- Complete Rail Overhaul: Fitted with new key bushing cloth, front rail cloth punchings, balance rail paper punchings, and balance rail cloth punchings for balanced key weight.
- Rebuilt Key Assembly: The entire keystick assembly is fully serviced, aligned, and regulated.
- New Muffler Felt: Replaced with fresh mute felt for ultra-quiet practice mode operation.
Strings, Soundboard & Internal Mechanics
- Acoustic Deep Clean: Soundboard thoroughly cleaned inside and out to maximize natural resonance.
- String & Pin Care: Strings are cleaned of surface oxidation, pressure bars are high-polished, and tuning pins are polished and torque-tested for rock-solid pitch stability.
